Who is responsible

What data is collected

• If you buy: the email address I send the book to, the book you bought and its language, the amount, the payment status and the transaction identifiers at Mercado Pago, plus any tax data the payment platform requests. Your card details never go through this site and I never see them: they are processed directly by the payment platform.
• If you join the list: only your email address, and the language of the page where you signed up.
• If you write to me by email: whatever you decide to tell me in that message.
• Browsing: aggregated site usage data (pages viewed, approximate country, device type, source of the visit), to the extent that a measurement tool is installed.

What it is used for

• Delivering the product you bought and supporting you with that purchase.
• Letting you know when a new ebook or a corrected version of one you already have comes out.
• Understanding what content works, looking at aggregated rather than individual data.
• Meeting tax and accounting obligations.

I don't sell, rent or give your email address to third parties for commercial purposes.

Who it is shared with

Only with the providers needed to make this work, and only with the data each one needs:

• Payment platforms: Mercado Pago (Argentine pesos) and, for purchases in US dollars, Lemon Squeezy, which receives the data you enter in its own checkout and handles it under its privacy policy.
• Email delivery (welcome, notices and deliveries): Resend.
• Database where the list and purchase records are stored: Neon.
• Site hosting: Vercel.
• Advertising: Google AdSense, which shows ads on the site's home page.
• Measurement tool: none for now. If I add one, I'll name it here.

Each has its own privacy policy, and some may store data outside your country.

Cookies and measurement

The site itself doesn't need cookies to work. Any that exist come from measurement tools or the payment provider. The site remembers your language and currency choice in your browser's local storage; you can clear it at any time. You can block cookies in your browser without breaking anything in the purchase.

Advertising. The home page shows Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's ad settings and see how Google uses data on this page.

How long it is kept

Purchase data is kept for as long as tax rules require. Your email address on the list is kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from the link at the bottom of every email.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access the data I hold about you, correct it, have it deleted or stop its use for notices. Write to me at contactofranmurad@gmail.com and I'll handle it within the time limits set by the applicable rules.

Unsubscribing from the email list is immediate and doesn't affect access to what you've already bought.

Changes

If I change this policy, I update the date above. Relevant changes are announced by email to those on the list.
